Below is a link to some log files from the second latest flight, whitch ended in a "hard landing" while in cruise mode. Not much "no pitch stick input" in this flight because I tried to maintain constant height. No damage to the plane, and I had another flight a couple of minutes later with similar behaviour - except the hard landingSome of my own observations:
- The baro heigth is consistent with GPS heigth, but the scaling is wrong. The error is gradually increasing from zero at launch to maybe 20-30 meters at 200m AGL, and back to zero at landing.
- Throttle and speed seems to be too high in cruise and auto mode. I have tried different parameter settings to no avail (I may get back to this in a separate thread).
- There is no airspeed sensor on the plane. Looking at the video, the FW is obviously doing a very good job. After a few seconds from launch both wind direction and strenght are pretty accurate. I guess from this data the FW is able to calculate airspeed (especially if the wind is constant).
- The controller, RX, BT and the PS is enclosed in a very crowded compartment and I was worried about temperature and possibly interference problems. The BARO temperature rises to ab. 62°C, whitch I have read is within limits (85°C).
I hope someone can take a look at the log, maybe there is something obvious I am missing. Thank you in advance!
